   Welcome to South Aston

   United Reformed Church

Who We Are
South Aston United Reformed has occupied this site since October 1973. Prior to that we were located less that a quarter of a mile away on what is now the Victoria Road interchange of the M38 (see the 'About Us' page). We are a relatively small but very active community of people trying hard to follow the Christian faith in the challenging environment of South Aston. There are few hours or days in any week when people from all walks of South Aston life and often well beyond, cannot be found either at worship in the sanctuary or at work or leisure in one of the two assembly halls or class rooms (see the 'About Us' page for details of some of the activities). The facilities are used by both multi ethnic and multi faith groups; truly serving the local community.
Come and join us, you are more than welcome!

Bloomsbury Mission Project - In July 2007 BMP joined with South
Aston to be run as a joint pastorate. South Aston brings the strengths and challenges of a traditonally structured church and BMP brings the strengths and challenges of a Mission Project, the aim of which is to give support to the needy of Nechells, a district of Birmingham neighbouring Aston. See an extract from The Minister's Annual Report, April 2010, featured in an ealier 'Ministers Page' article which can now be located in the 'Archive' section of this website.
